Under 7s report

With an opening try scored by Sam in the first few minutes, North Walsham had a comfortable win against a good Wymondham side with a final score of 6-3. However, there were a few directional issues to be resolved but our tagging was much improved since the West Norfolk Festival especially by Jack who was strong in defence throughout this Holt Festival. Tries scored by JB, Ollie, Sam (2) Luke and Eddie.

Against a fast Diss side we again tagged quite well although our new ‘rushing’ system needs to be refined. With tries scored by Sam, Ollie, Luke and Billy and good promise shown by Shaunna and Jamie in attack, a score of 4-1 to Walsham put us into the final against West Norfolk – again!!

Tiredness began to show in the final and a few mistakes were made especially in defence against a strong West Norfolk team. Luke and Eddie scored all of our tries in a fight back from a 3-1 half time deficit to a final 6-all draw, which showed great character from all players.

Back to Walsham for coaching next Sunday and looking forward to our next match in 2 weeks time.
